We decided to write this blog as a way of sharing some of our stories from past experiences fishing, tying flies, guiding, and traveling. Most of which are completely 100% true except for the names of people, some stories are slightly embellished and some are mostly made up. It's really for you to figure it out and for us to have some fun writing down some of the truly good memories we have had while immersed in fly fishing.

Spring Creek Update (4/8/2012)

I got a chance to fish Spring Creek the last couple of days when I had a few hours of free time.  The Grannom Caddis activity was not near the craziness that Brian and I have witnessed the last few trips to Fishing Creek, but it was almost as much fun fishing Sucker Spawn and Pheasant Tail nymphs combinations.  The water continues to plummet lower and lower but the fish seem to be feeding just as heavily.

With the water conditions continuing to get lower and lower make sure you are very wary of your movements on the stream.  The lower the water the more aware the fish are about unwarranted lateral line stimulation.  Make cautious and calculated movements in the water to optimize the number of fish you will be able to hook into.

Here are a few pictures that I captured on my last few stops to various portions of Spring Creek.
