We decided to write this blog as a way of sharing some of our stories from past experiences fishing, tying flies, guiding, and traveling. Most of which are completely 100% true except for the names of people, some stories are slightly embellished and some are mostly made up. It's really for you to figure it out and for us to have some fun writing down some of the truly good memories we have had while immersed in fly fishing.

Crane Flies, Cahill's and Sulphur's Galore!

The last two nights have offered great fishing on Spring Creek! I'm trying to make some time this weekend and head to either the Little Juniata or Penns Creek to see if the Sulphur fishing is as good there as it has been on Spring Creek.  A few Green Drakes have been spotted on Penns but there are not enough Drakes to stir the trout from feeding on them.

Both nights I've caught fish on Light Cahill's, Crane Flies and the majority of the fish have been on either Sulphur Duns or Sulphur Spinners.  The amount of insects on the water have been impressive considering the amount of rain that we've received.  Either way the fish are getting enough protein to keep them healthy and ready to put up a fight!

Friday and Saturday have been forecasted to be in the beautiful days!  Get your flies tied and gear up to catch some fish!
